Based on proposals by the theatres and Senate members, the Senate of the Romanian Theatre Union (UNITER) awarded Gábor Tompa the Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his outstanding work as a director. The award was presented at the UNITER Gala held on May 25, 2026, at the Odeon Theatre in Bucharest.
